“Healing is never complete until we have been truly heard. May the universe send you someone who will sincerely care to listen.”

Meet Amanda.
Hello! I am a licensed therapist in Texas (#51487), Ohio (#I.1901832-SUPV) and Florida (#TPSW3665). For the past 15 years, I have been providing support and counseling for women in the mental health field. Through my work in hospitals, clinics and private practice settings, I gained broad-based training and experience, and had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients including: adolescents, adults, and high conflict couples and families. Throughout my training, my greatest joy and my deepest passion always centered on women’s issues.
My specialized focus on women’s well-being began in college and continued in my early career in medical social work, where I worked in the NICU and postpartum units with women coping with perinatal mental health conditions. This work laid the foundation for my clinical training and practice. Before starting my private practice, I spent time in the health tech space working with adults and children in a therapeutic capacity.
I am passionate about learning and enhancing my skills in the area of trauma and maternal mental health. I practice from a trauma informed lens to ensure all individuals that enter my therapy room are provided the space to process how trauma has impacted their daily life. I am currently in process to obtain my PMH-C (perinatal mental health certification). I have training in Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My focus is on supporting individuals to resolve trauma and stress and return the mind and body to a place of emotional regulation and health.
